We are currently looking for a new IT director for the Pan-Nordic IT application landscape in our two consumer businesses - HomeNet and IP-Only.
IP-Only is based in Sweden while HomeNet is based in Norway and Germany. This is an opportunity to set the direction for many large transformation projects - where prioritization is truly important. In other words, the B2C business in GlobalConnect is looking for a leader with a strong sense of direction as we enter a new era!
About the role:
As our B2C Director of IT, you will be a leading voice within the pan nordic office of IT development. Within this role your main tasks is to support our billing systems, CRM systems and customer facing applications. As well as further developing the team and the roadmap. With major growth on its way, you will decide on what to do and how to do it, together with the IT development management team.
Your key responsibilities
As our next B2C Director of IT you will be responsible for establishing and executing the following responsibilities:
• Building a well-oiled IT development unit.
• Working towards creating a good service for our customers.
• Seek ways in which tech can support growth.
• Ensure high availability and performance of all production and corporate applications.
• Lead the continuous development on all relevant systems.
• Lead our digital transformation to ensure scalability and automation.
About you:
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a value-driven company with ambitious goals. We believe you to have experience within the nordic sector and that you are comfortable with the role as a leader. You have worked within the international sector before and see international relations as something exciting! As our next B2C Director of IT you are business-oriented and ready to be up there at the lead, you might have left the developing world but you still see IT and development as a passion. We believe you to be a humble leader, who will listen and take in your surroundings and strive towards helping the team to reach their set goals.
Furthermore, we see that you have touched the following areas:
• Solid development experience.
• Experience in telecommunications IT systems development (Billing, CRM , customer facing applications).
• Experience with leading teams in a cross-functional organization.
• Experience with digital transformation journeys and operational excellence models.
• Experience of building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other third parties to ensure consistent, and effective delivery of services.
• Experience operating autonomously, with strong analytical skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and a drive.
• Good skills in professional English.
