hela Sverige On behalf of the client, we are looking for you who have the right qualifications, experience and personality for this assignment.We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Quality & Test Engineer to lead the quality assurance and testing initiatives within the client's next-generation Product Lifecycle Management Program. This role demands expertise in overseeing and managing all aspects of testing and quality assurance within the Azure DevOps environment. We are looking for you who have a background in software development, QA and extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices.
To excel in this role, you will bring your exceptional leadership skills to navigate and direct a team of testers, ensuring they execute testing strategies that align with project objectives and company standards. Your proficiency in Azure DevOps will enable you to effectively plan, execute, and track test cases across the development lifecycle. Additionally, your expertise in software development methodologies and testing frameworks will foster the implementation of robust testing processes that guarantee the highest quality of their products.
Assignment
Your main tasks are:
• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies that align with company goals and project requirements. Ensure these strategies are adaptable to various projects and technologies.
• Manage and oversee all testing activities, including automated and manual testing, to ensure high-quality software deployment. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Integrate quality assurance processes into the Azure DevOps pipeline. Work closely with the development team to implement CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices that include robust testing protocols.
• Performance monitoring and analysis of key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. Ensure that the Ensure that the software meets all performance, reliability, and efficiency standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, Business Architects, and testers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and product management, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Select and manage tools and technologies for testing and quality assurance. Stay updated with the latest trends in Azure DevOps and quality assurance methodologies.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in software quality and DevOps processes and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in software quality assurance.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports on quality assurance activities, test results, and improvement areas to stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive documentation for quality assurance processes and tests.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have/are:
• At least 5 years of work experience in the classified area
• Proven experience in quality assurance and testing in a DevOps environment, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
