At Axis HQ in Lund we have a wide variety of mechanical teams that are key contributors to our growing product portfolio We are more than 200 talented Mechanical engineers at our HQ in Lund, with 13 different managers. What you'll do here:
Your daily work is project team consisting of different functions and competences like electronics, firmware, quality, test, production, and sourcing. The duration of a project is normally from 6 months to 2 years. Your team will drive the mechanical development from concept to mass productions. You will design the product, create prototypes, communicate with suppliers, verify the product, prepare the product for mass production and more.
You will also be working in close collaboration with our suppliers worldwide to ensure the product can be produced in a smart and sustainable way.
In your work you will also meet and work with product managers, project managers, line managers and engineers from our other departments.
We work with cutting edge technology in our products and help each other with the challenges that comes in our projects. Personal development is natural part of your continuously work within Axis. We offer you great possibilities to influence all features of the product, together we develop the best products on the market. Our projects are all different kinds, enhancing products already on the market to innovative new products.
As a Mechanical Engineer at Axis, you have the possibility to work with different types of products depending on which mechanical department you are a part of.
We also encourage our engineers to switch within these departments.
