WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The IT Infrastructure department is part of the Information Systems unit within Axis, our direct responsibility is to provide and maintain a secure, reliable and effective global IT infrastructure at Axis. Among many other things, we design and maintain Axis server & virtualization platforms, network, storage & backup, security, remote access, cloud platforms and phone systems. We also work closely with RnD to design and implement the infrastructure and services used in our commercial offerings.
You will work closely with the rest of the Infrastructure team based in Sweden.
With responsibility for over sixty sites around the world, direct involvement in the commercial offering and always striving to stay independent from consultants by keeping expert knowledge in-house. We are not your typical IT department.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you feel at home in a global, ever changing IT environment and the complexity that comes with, and that you have several years of working experience in a similar environment. The successful candidate should have worked as an AWS Solution Architect for +3 years and have expert competence of IT Infrastructure and Cloud Infrastructure. In addition to that we are looking for someone who is a team player but can work independently if needed. Most important you are an open and driven person with a genuine interest in your job, service minded and communicative.
THE MAIN SKILLS WANTED ARE:
Main Responsibilities
Support our R&D team with their cloud strategy and innovative AWS solutions
Analyze user requirements and guide users in formulating requirements
Develop system architecture from lab to the operational AWS environment
Design and arrangement of scalable, highly attainable, and fault tolerant systems on AWS
Required Qualifications
Expertise with multiple AWS services and Hands-on AWS experience with a minimum of one to two reference of implementations, preferably on enterprise scale
Extensive knowledge in designing and configuring AWS services for rapid deployment of compute and storage resources in defined configurations
Strong understanding/Experience in the AWS Cloud IaaS and PaaS services such as RDS, EC2, S3, Lambda
Hands on with core AWS platform and security architecture, including: service account design, virtual private cloud, network design, subnet, segmentation strategies
Good understanding on AWS security services such as identity and access management (IAM), Role & Policy, key management service (KMS), and audit logging
Have knowledge and experience in designing environments that adhere to the AWS Well-Architected Framework
Extensive knowledge of Linux operating system
Should possess 5+ years of related IT and technical architecture experience.
Good working knowledge in any RDBMS - design practices and use cases.
Perferred Qualificatons
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or associated field)
AWS Solutions Architect Certification (Associate required; Professional preferred)
