At Product Development IT, we are responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions for R&D. The work environment is international and our employees are representing many different nationalities and countries. Your responsibilities
Most of our solutions are business critical and requires high performance and high maintainability. Focus areas ahead is to further develop the solutions with modern cloud-based technology and improve automation of tests.
You will be part of a development team where you will be working with a focus on development deliverables, system requirements, testing, support and release management.
As a senior developer, you will also play an important role in building & maintaining .NET solutions with good software architecture and continuously improving the way of working.
Your profile
We are looking for a .NET Full stack developer with experience in Amazon AWS and DevOps. You should have a degree in IT, complemented with a minimum of 5 years development experience with at least 1-2 years' experience in AWS.
It is meritorious if you have experience in .NET Core and micro-service architecture.
We expect applicants to be curious, have excellent problem-solving skills and to have a genuine interest in developing good IT solutions. You need to have excellent communication skills, be a team player and also be capable of working independently. It is an advantage if you have worked/are working in a leading role.
As the corporate language is English, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
The location
The majority of your work will be conducted remotely from a location of your choosing within Sweden. You may be required to work onsite at the Scania office in Södertälje only when absolutely necessary, during which the travel costs will be reimbursed. Scania is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania's own bus line, Scania Job Express, goes from Stockholm city directly to Scania in Sodertalje.
