Connected Intelligence is a group within Connected Systems at Scania R&D. In the context of connectivity, we innovate and deliver scalable analytics that enable informed decision making for product, service and business developers.
Assignment
We are now hiring a developer to strengthen the team's ability to enable data driven decisions based on insights from the 400 000+ connected Scania vehicles. The data handled is derived from GPS-positions describing the global transport network. The challenge is to take this massive amount of data and turn it in to useful information in a modular, scalable, maintainable and effective way.
The information is used in a wide range of tasks, ranging from detective work in root cause analysis for field quality investigations, to data science projects supporting the business development of automation an electrification with insights from our current fleet.
We are looking for the person that will strengthen the development skills of the team, main responsibilities is to implement and release data pipelines developed in AWS and Snowflake using modern CI/CD patterns.
Your profile
You have an academic degree in a computer science related field, or the equivalent work experience. In addition:
• You have experience in implementing and deploying cloud based data pipelines
• You are used to work with release management and CI/CD in a horizontally scaling architecture
• You have some experience working with big data, and an understanding for the challenges and opportunities brought by the mere size of data
• Continuous improvement of the development process is therefore a natural priority.
