Telenor Sweden is interested in leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) to increase agility, improve security, reduce costs and gain distinctive edge in analytics by exploiting cloud services. Are you interested in working with a fun group of professionals who love Data and Analytics?
To our Analytics & AI division, we are looking for a passionate, results-oriented AWS Cloud Architect who has the ability to play a critical role in setting up world class analytics transformation roadmap.
What you'll do
You will mostly be working with our Data/ Network Engineers to make sure that the demands of the day to day need from AWS are met in general. You will be giving tips and best practices to the team, and you will be responsible to design the cloud solution and lay down scalable, secure and durable cloud architecture for a hybrid solution. You will be helping the cloud team for maintaining the accounts and proposing cost effective, secure solutions for Telenor products and applications. Supporting the center of excellence for big data and future analytics stack is also going to be a part of your role.

As our Cloud Architect, some of you responsibilities will be to:
* Architect/operate solutions build on hybrid AWS enterprise environments with strong understanding of data lake concepts
* You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones, so you can make strong contributions to deep architecture discussions
* Integrate different technologies for data management, lineage and governance and preferably with Cloudera (Navigator, Sentry) stack or similar tools.
* Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals to enable them to be cloud advocates
* Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
Who are you
In order to succeed in this position, we believe you should be self-motivated with a proven track record in AWS software/technology. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable at the intersection of technology and business. The Cloud Architect is a very technical role which means that you must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, analytics). On the business side, the ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical. A typical day will involve a lot of interaction with several internal stakeholders and team members to find the most suitable and fundamentally reliable cloud solution and work towards the team goal.
We believe the below skills are important in order for you to thrive and succeed in the role:
* Technical degree required; Computer Science or Engineering preferred
* Extensive years of relevant work experience within AWS Cloud Technologies
* Extensive years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with distributed applications or systems architecture
* Experience and understanding of data technologies and patterns for cloud environments including both public and private cloud deployments
* Experience with ETLs and tools, experience with Talend is a plus
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations
* AWS certified
