Join our team and grasp this great opportunity to become a Analytics Platform Engineer with our AWS team in Stockholm. I am Robert Lönn and lead our team of platform experts within Data and Analytics in Telia Company. We are building the new hybrid cloud foundation and capabilities for the whole of Telia Company's Analytics, BI and Machine Learning domain.
Do you want to grow with us?
We need to enhance our platform's capabilities with Machine Learning services, big data processing (Glue/EMR), Real time streaming (Kinesis/Kafka) data governance, improve CI/CD, generate guidelines and support in some of the data architecture and best practices questions. Your role would be to, in collaboration with your team members and other teams, focus on us successfully delivering that.
We are enabling machine learning capabilities and real-time streaming as well as traditional data capabilities. Your closest colleagues are Cloud Platform Engineers, Cloud DevSecOps Engineers, Infrastructure & Security architects, AWS and Redshift designers and so on.

Who are you?
You are someone who enjoys analyzing complex problems, can articulate your suggested solutions and develop the same and bring in your colleagues for collaboration when needed. You take ownership of your areas of responsibility and you are a great communicator.

Understand business value and demonstrate it in implemented solutions
Good storytelling skills
We would like you to have experience from:
Setting up data analytics platforms in AWS using data lakes in S3, DWH in Redshift, ETL with Glue, / EMR clusters, Real time streaming using Kinesis / Kafka, ML using Sagemaker studio
IAC using Terraform and/or Cloud Formation
Setting up CI/CD pipelines. GitHub & GitHub Actions or AWS native tools
AWS network, security and access control services
Bonus if you also have experience from:
Airflow
Python
Kubernetes, Rancher
DBT (data build tool)
Data warehouse & analytics background
