The bird we are referring to here is named Carl (typical bird name), and he recently flew away internally to a role as CTO. Great news for us all, but it does leave a vacancy in our Cloud Services Team where Carl used to be. Are you ready to replace Carl and become our next Awesome Product Manager?

About the role:
You in your role as Product Manager will play a key part in our coming growth and expansion plans. However this is something of a hybrid role, with responsibilities ranging from the architectural product structure of our IST Cloud (we'll tell you more about it when we meet), to both roadmap and short term prioritizations, overall process handling, blog updating and information spreading as well as tasks related to release management and API:s.
By your side you will have a skilled Cloud Services team, as well as other internal parties helping you continuously improve the IST Cloud product. You are part of making sure that our cloud and hosting environments are world class, in alignment with our current processes and other products. You will also help with procurements and play an active part in making our customers feel safe with the services we offer, and probably develop and maintain a few bots on rainy days.
The role is based at our HQ in Växjö, close to the town center and the Växjö lake. You will report to the Head of Cloud Services, who - despite the title, is an experienced and technically gifted manager with both feet (and head) firmly placed on the ground.

About you:
For this role you need to show a proven success record when it comes to product management within the technical/IT sector. We also believe that you come from a technical background well acquainted with hosting environments, you know about the life as a developer, and maybe you've also been able to acquire one or two leadership tricks along the way. We didn't lie when we said that the role is a kind of hybrid role, didn't we?
To be able to blend well into the team and to our company culture we also think that you need to tick at least a few of these boxes.
• You are awesome (obviously, check the title!)
• Not afraid to stand your ground when needed, and adjust and alter your opinions when that is better for IST
• Know how to get people to listen and to support your cause
• Have the ability to explain your product and it's benefits both with a technical approach but also being able to explain it to someone without the technical expertise
