Bombardier Transportation is currently recruiting for a Payroll Operations Team Leader for Sweden (Västerås)

The role holder will be responsible for the effective day to day running of the HR and Payroll Administration team within the HR Business Services, based in Sweden.
Core Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the team meets all of the SLA's
• All data is processed according to best practice as established within the current business frameworks currently in practice
• Overall team accountability including: development / behavior / performance
• Ensure that the team focus is directed to customer and processes
• Additionally the individual will often be expected to co-ordinate and execute the processing of large scale HR processes.
Within this role you will also be responsible for the day-to-day running of the HR Business Services office based in Västerås, including,ensuring and co-coordinating budget management, effective overall communications between UK and Sweden teams and office management duties.
Competencies:
Ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective HR administration service to client countries. Including daily workload allocation and prioritization with the team:
Adjusting allocation of key tasks based on considerations of business risk, commerciality and urgency
Acting as an initial point of escalation for customers
Management of direct reports.
Objective setting, performance management and the timely completion of reviews in line with company processes and standards.
Ensuring appropriate skills levels within the team to deliver against SLAs.
To continually behave as a role model for excellent Customer Service in their dealings with all internal and external customers.
Ensuring that the team has all the hours, materials and resources in place on a day to day basis to meet all its service commitments
Ensuring that the Sweden based team is fully integrated into the Regional Business Services Data Management Team.
Local Payroll Management
Ensuring local payroll activities are managed to required compliance and legal requirements (CASRA, SARBOX, etc).
Managing data interfaces and relationships with internal business functions (eg Finance General Ledger)
Managing business processes and interfaces to local 3rd party suppliers
Acting as an initial escalation point for local payroll issues
Liaising closely with the International Regional Operations Manager (HR Connect) on day to day activities, issues, SLAs, process and technology enhancements and payroll vendor management issues
Quality Control
Responsible for the quality control of operational output and the continual drive for process efficiency and improvement
Devising and implementing quality control methods for the team
Supporting and working closely with the Head of Data Management and Systems Analyst in facilitating and implementing process change within the business.
Project Management:
Taking the lead role on the more complex administration delivery of HR busines
