Experis Finance is looking for a Supply Chain Planner for one of our clients in Malmö. Estimated assignment lengths is 6-9 months with option to extend. Startdate ASAP.
The Supply Chain Planner manages the overall supply chain scope, from demand forecasting to goods delivery for appointed products. This includes securing capacity for minimum 12 months out, creating and sending out purchase orders to supplier and following up upon delivery schedules and making sure the goods are delivered out to the customer as first committed. The planner needs to have full control of what is started in production and what is in stock to be able to respond to changes in demand both upsides and downsides.
Responsibilities
* Establish production plans based on new incoming demand
* Forecast to Suppliers for appointed products
* Purchase Orders to cover the requests of appointed products
* Following up upon the total capacity per supplier and also the given FPC capacity
* Supplier delivery schedule monitoring and updates needed upon changes
* Supplier invoice approvals and making sure all goods have been invoiced
* Commit new incoming sales orders and any updates upon them
* Allocation suggestions based on current supply situations
* Customer deliveries
* Suggest part deliveries if needed in order to meet the requested date and be up to date with any possible delivery restrictions.
* Manage all required shipping documents directions and secure good communication with external logistics partners, both for internal and external (customers) requests.
* Reporting of the KPIs and deliver in line with set KPI:s
* Maintain accurate Master Data
* To lead meetings with appointed suppliers for regular status, forecast commitments & projects.
* Understanding of the sample process and new product process
* ERP system fully up to date with reality
* Sanity checks and updates needed for monthly closures
* Inventory count responsible per supplier for appointed products
* Monitor and follow product and customer qualification stages
* Full understanding of the production and to visit the different sites
* Alignment and support of information to the management team.
Qualifications
* Preferably SCM experience from manufacturing industry, preferably electronics or other high volume business
* Cost controlling experience relating to production
* Well advanced statistical analysing abilities
* Knowledge of accounting connection to the supply chain
* Market awareness
* Fluent in English, written and verbally
