We are now looking for an Diagnostic System Developer within the department of Product Lifecycle Management & Readiness!
Description
The Innovation, Product Strategy & Execution department is incorporated inside the NEVS Organization and has the overall responsibilities for defining next generation products including services and to lead ongoing projects.
As an adaptive teamplayer within the Innovation, Product Strategy & Execution team, the described role focusses on proposing, driving and cross-functionally coordinating NEVS' strategic direction in the area of Autonomous Drive, both from a technological and business perspective. Heavily relying on new technology and a fast development pace thereof. This includes finding ways to finance, collaborate (internally & externally), accelerate and smoothly connecting associated activities to NEVS' product portfolio roadmap.
This role also involves:
- Monitor & Analyse global development of AD related technology and business
- Define & propose (to Local & Global Product Boards) company wide strategic initiatives, that are technology and or business driven and instrumental to the AD aspects within the agreed strategic product portfolio and its execution needs
- Be the cross-functional leader of these initiatives in case they are agreed & initiated
- Be the spokesperson of these initiatives to local and global Product Boards
- Catalyse internal and external collaboration around these initiatives
- Find ways to (co-)finance these initiatives
- Maintain an international network with academia and cutting edge technology firms to support and facilitate all the above
We are looking for someone who has:
- Solid experience in business development and management of industry leading R&D
- Having established a significant international network with academia and industry in the area of new (breakthrough) technology development
- Mulitple years of project/program management experience, incl. leading leaders from different professional backgrounds
- PhD in an area of relevance for Autonomous Drive development
To be successful in the role, you need to:
- Manage assignment by yourself in both structured and agile environments and be able to take business decisions on a daily basis
- Handle multiple tasks and deliver on time
- Have functional and technical skills
- Be problem solving, action-orientated, creative and open minded
An enthusiastic person who thrives in an agile working culture
- Abilities to deal with ambiguity as well as solving problems.
- Team player characteristics. Work is done in cooperation and coordination within the group.
- Have good communications skills

Terms
NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
