About the job
ÅF has more than 1 400 engineers working in the international automotive industry. We have extensive experience in executing on-site as well as outsourced assignments and is running 10 automotive customer satellites. Our customers are mainly in Sweden, Brazil, UK, and China where we also have subsidiaries and offices.
To one of our Automotive Customers we are looking for a Power and Signal Distribution Engineer who will work with:
• Wire harness design and development of the 12V systems for current & future projects
• Implement and document changes if needed
• Perform and/or support product development activities
• Support system owners during technical dialog with suppliers
• Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes to reduce cost
• Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products
• Support future product planning activities
• Be responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience in the work area, preferably in the automotive, minimum 3 year
• Deep knowledge and xperience in mechanical/electrical integration and CAD modeling
• Experience user: TeamCenter, Saber, Visio
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver license B
