Controls Engineer.
Maintain Facility Systems.
Accountable for site Building Management System (BMS) changes at one or more sites
a. Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems
b. Provide proposals for retrofits, upgrades and/or enhancements to existing equipment
c. Review operating equipment data for potential efficiency improvements in the current operation, monitor all associated systems data for abnormal operating trends, and make suggested "proactive" adjustments accordingly
d. Manage the development of all new projects required at the Data Centers and Critical Environments as assigned to include facilitation of broad groups, building consensus, and ensuring system integrity is maintained at all times
e. Manage the change control process and revisions of all existing documents and procedures at the Data Centers and Critical Environments
f. Provide scope and quotes for projects as needed
g. Creation and management of metrics
h. Provide direct oversight to all system configurations and component upgrades
i. Oversee all system configurations and component upgrades to ensure system uptime and that all modifications to existing systems are in compliance with best practices
Coordinate Facility Operations.
Provide Staff training when applicable
Assist in supporting audit initiatives
Conduct extensive self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in BMS systems
Complete certifications as required by the Pinnacle
Team Management.
a. Coach, develop, and mentor Facilities Engineers
b. Provide technical assistance to team members at the data center
c. Assist in development and retention of employees
d. Ensure that overall engineering of projects is in full compliance with Pinnacle standards and expectations
Communicate.
a. Report problems or changes to management immediately
b. Serves as point of contact for account teams BMS and CMMS
c. Act as the single focal point for Pinnacle teams during the projects duration
d. Collaborate with other Pinnacle departments for cross utilization and use of best practices and idea sharing
e. Work closely with the National Critical Environments team

Education and Experience.
a. Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent or equivalent combination of professional experience and education.
b. Experience in facilities related environments.
Working Conditions.
a. Ability and willingness to travel regionally, up to 25% travel will be required.
b. Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime as required, and be "on call" on a 24 x 7 basis for emergency situations
