The Position
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to lead our effort towards improving our games using test automation. As a member of the Live Ops team, you will be developing procedures, automated tools, and tests to cover the full depth and breadth of our games in development.

The Autotest Engineer is cross-functional and will collaborate with our engine team, the development teams, and our QA specialists, but there is also a large degree of freedom. The role will be involved with all stages of automated testing, from finding the needs of the studio and identifying areas for improvement, to implementing the solution.

Responsibilities
Be a leader of the automation infrastructure covering areas such as performance, stability, build verification etc.

Write, implement and manage automated tests and collaborate with QA specialists and developers to implement and improve on automation strategies. Maintain and develop our VM infrastructure on-premises as well as in the cloud.

Additionally, the Autotest Engineer will provide critical analysis of automation programming and development practices as well as communicating the quality of the product through metrics and spreading knowledge around automation.

Required Qualifications

• Basic C++ skills or similar and experience with a c++ unit testing framework
• Scripting experience with Python or similar scripting languages
• 2+ years of experience working with test automation
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Desired Qualifications

• Has shipped 1 video game
• Professional experience with C++
• Experience working with VM's
• Familiarity with Jenkins, or similar automation software.
• Experience with test management tools like Testrail or Spira, test framework like Catch2, and Google cloud platform or other cloud provider
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Interest in AI development and machine learning
• A passion for Open World games
