• Build test automation frameworks
• Test Scripting using different languages (eg. Gherkin)
• Candidate should have been part of test squads and must have experience in converted manual tests into automated test suites. Knowledge of Build Verification Testing, Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Systems Testing, System Integration Testing, Functional Verification Testing (FVT)
About the job
We strongly believe that you are a person who has good understanding and global experience of digital marketing and content management systems. Since the domain provides services on an enterprise level, it is good that you have 7+ years of working experiences of enterprise content management workflows and platforms.
To succeed in this role, you are self-motivated and understand the best practices view on how to analyze and understand different products. We require you have experience of working with PIM, DAM, headless CMS, Marketing Automation platforms and cloud-based solutions within MarTech stack or have similar training done in the past.
In your role as a test automation engineer, you will ensure the quality of products and work closely with developers to understand the feature releases. The goal is to have QA assured production environment with quality content.
Your assignment will include:
• Analyze the structure of a business, how it uses technology and what its goals are.
• Creating a detailed quality analysis, outlining problems, capturing bugs, and build an automated framework to support the products with quality.
• Manual testing can also be used in the start to lay the foundation of quality.
• Ensuring the developer add quality assured content/code to the platform.
• Build strategies to support the above goals.
• Later, a test automation framework would be needed to automate the testing for following
• Understanding the quality of assets in the digital asset management portal.
• Using tools like web driver / Selenium to manage automation
• Lead the testing in the domain with best practices.
• You will be working on development of functions and features for a SaaS platform.
Day to day task includes
• Analyzing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
