The Test System Engineering department consists of 12 team members who develop and maintain test systems for Husqvarna's products - everything from robotic lawn mowers to chainsaws and garden tools. We operate at the intersection of electronics, mechanics, software, and automation, and we are responsible for ensuring our test solutions maintain high quality and reliability.
Here, you will be part of a dedicated and skilled team that values collaboration, innovation, and practical problem-solving. You will work in an innovative environment with cutting-edge technology. As part of our close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to grow, make an impact, and contribute to the future of test solutions.
About the role
As an Automation Technician you will:
Work with electrical design in EPLAN, including modifications to existing schematics and designing entirely new projects
Purchase electrical components for test systems and equipment
Verify designs in practice, including electrical testing and system validation
Combine hands-on work in a workshop environment with technical documentation and design tasks
Validate safety systems using Sistema
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys alternating between theoretical and practical work in a workshop setting.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience in industrial automation
Experience in electrical design using EPLAN
A solid understanding of automation systems and electrical engineering
The ability to work independently and take ownership of the entire design process - from concept to finished solution
An interest in both hands-on assembly and technical development
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It's a plus if you have experience with electrical testing and test equipment.
Location
The position is based in Huskvarna. You're expected to be on-site every day, but we also offer some flexibility for hybrid work.
Your application
You will be working in an environment where innovation is a given. Together, we create systems that make a difference - want to join us?
Please submit your application as soon as possible, as we apply ongoing selection. We do not accept applications via e-mail due to GDPR regulations.
