Are you an experienced Industrial Automation manager ready for your next step forward?
As the new Development Director you'll have a high degree of autonomy to shape, define and lead our Automation Services business start-up. From creating business plans, holding profit and loss responsibility, building the team and developing concepts and strategies, you'll demonstrate excellent leadership skills to inspire others.
Valmet is a global organization and you'll get to travel the world using your influencing and persuasion skills to drive International matrix teams to achieve our vision and goals.
You have a Master's (or Bachelor's) degree in a related field and minimum of 10 years of progressively senior experience, including several years of management experience in automation services, in industrial automation for paper and/or process industries, as well as development of new services business on a global scale. Financial acumen with analytical and P&L skills are also required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as presentation and facilitation skills are needed in this new position. Knowledge of key cultural differences and ability to adapt communication style accordingly are highly appreciated.
You have a successful track record of leadership with an ability to build, inspire and lead global teams to achieve goals, with a key requirement being a demonstrated ability to obtain results in a matrix environment. Demonstrated ability to create an environment that respects and encourages cross-cultural collaboration is valued. You are able to quickly establish credibility, influence others, build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally.
You have to be willing and able to travel extensively on an international basis.
