hela Sverige On behalf of the client, we are looking for you who have the right qualifications, experience and personality for this assignment.Join our global production team at a leading automotive manufacturer and play a crucial role in ensuring that the client's vehicles meet the highest expectations of their customers. As an Automation/PLC Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining PLC systems for new projects, global development work, and ongoing production processes. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of their manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow the client's Electrical/PLC standards during project execution
• Monitor and track progress and time management of project tasks
• Facilitate the handover of PLC systems to production teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination
• Share knowledge and expertise to enhance the capabilities of local engineers
• Maintain effective communication within the team and across the organization
• Demonstrate leadership and embody the client's culture
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in PLC programming and engineering
• Strong understanding of industrial networks and machine safety principles
• Proficient in PLC programming languages such as Siemens TIA Portal
• Experience with electrical design software such as EPLAN is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Swedish and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Meritorious Skills:
• Experience with electrical hardware and industrial automation systems
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes and facility, tooling, and equipment
• Familiarity with Office 365 applications
