About the job
The research and development department within the business unit high-speed separators is responsible for the development of high-speed separators (HSS) for the dairy, brewery, beverage, biofuel and marine, starch, vegetable oil and protein industries.
We continue to expand and now we are looking for an automation engineer/electrical designer for the Sensing & Control group who is responsible for, among others, development of automation and control systems for advanced test systems in our development laboratory in Tumba, development and evaluation of sensors and measurement systems for test systems and HSS.
Your key tasks will be:
* Electrical design of control systems and control cabinets for test systems.
* PLC programming for signal/data acquisition, HMI and control of test systems.
* Develop measurement technology and measurement equipment for test systems.
* Evaluate new sensors for implementation in new technical solutions in control systems for test rigs and HSS.
* Document technical solutions and produce technical reports.
Your profile:
* You have university degree in electrical engineering, automation, and control systems, or equivalent.
* Experience in electrical design in CAD tools, preferably in EPLAN.
* Experience in PLC programming, very meritorious.
* Knowledge of standards and regulations for electrical systems, cabinets and components, and safety systems.
* Knowledges in Python, Machine learning and data analysis is an advantage.
* You are fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage.
