Dfind is now searching for a an engineer for a 12 months assignment to support our clients production as an automation engineer. This engineer should have experience with continuous manufacturing environments and experience from trouble shooting on production lines finding faults hands on. PLC/ automation understanding is also desired. During this assignment you will be employed by Dfind. About the assignment:

You will work with installation and continuous improvements to new and existing automation systems, assists manufacturing operations in problem solving with regards to the automation systems and assists in the validation of process and facility automation.

During this assignment you will be the technical partner to the Operations teams throughout the life cycle of new and existing GX assay products. Daily interaction and engagement with R&D, Service Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functions within the company is expected of this Engineer.

Key Responsibility:

• Actively participate in the installation and optimization of new and existing manufacturing equipment to ensure launch of new products and to meet future production demands.
• Leads, provides support, coordinates or participates in
• operations-related activities required to new equipment:
• As appropriate, serve as a technical liaison for other departments with regards to production activities, including, but not limited to, trouble shooting, writing of user requirement specifications, writing of production documents such as user manuals.
• Use professional skills to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways within the bounds of company policies and procedures.
• Maintain substantial and current knowledge of validation and process control requirements with strict compliance with applicable Quality Management System standards.
Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering or equivalent (eg. Mechanical engineering, mechatronics etc.)

Experience:

2-5 years

Knowledge and skills:

Required knowledge, skills and abilities (minimal competencies):

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience within manufacturing automation environment
• Experience from validation of equipment/automation lines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a strong technical presence
• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English and Swedish
• Ability to successfully interact with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work with multiple parallel projects

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience of Design for Manufacturing reviews
• Experience from working in a regulated environment (ISO or GMP)
• Experience from working in a global environment
• Basic experience within the areas of freeze drying and filling processes
• Basic experience/ understanding of injection molded plastic parts
• Familiarity with medical device regulations in US and CE markets
