Description
Are you passionate about automation engineering and curious about complex filling machine technology?
In this position you will have the opportunity to work with technical challenges in a stimulating and creative work environment to develop Tetra Pak's future Packaging Systems. We can offer you the opportunity to combine hands-on with analytical work in a team with a positive and supportive atmosphere. You will be a part of a team working with a broad range of activities.
You will belong to the Carton Bottle and Gable Top Platform who is leading the development of a product portfolio offering a competitive alternative to plastic bottles. The department you work for is responsible for securing platform competitiveness, managing the technical specifications of packaging lines and individual equipment.
Main responsibilities
• Design, test and validation of hardware and software automation solution
• Testing of automation/mechatronic solution in virtual and physical environment
• Documentation of solutions according to
specification
• Support and participate in in-house test of
development and prototype machines
• Plan, execute and follow-up on activities above
Qualifications
To be successful in this position we believe that you are a skilled engineer with a strong focus on problem solving, results and quality. It is critical that you are a team player taking an interest in collaborating with others and have the ability to lead and drive activities in your area.
A burning interest in technology and a desire to specialise in the area of automation is key for this position. You are open-minded and possess a strong technical interest and curiosity, together with analytical skills.
We believe you have a university degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Applied physics engineering or equivalent combined with some years of experience from automation design. Longer practical work experience within automation can compensate for a lack of university degree. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.
Knowledge in high level and object orientation programming as well as experience in industry application of complex technical solutions and knowledge in product development is of high value.
