Alfa Laval now has an exciting opportunity for an automation engineer position in our highly skilled engineering department in Tumba.
About the job
Your main tasks:
Responsible for PLC programming for our High Speed Separator projects.
Testing at electrical cabinet shop builder.
Establish, document, and maintain clear standards for automation packages and communicate these effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Take responsibility for continuous improvement of these standards.
Provide expert technical support to customers, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers through the RFQ, bid development, project execution, and commissioning/testing processes
Review customer specifications in RFQ packages relevant to automation scope.
Qualifications:
You hold a university degree in electrical engineering or similar
Experience in PLC programming, and designing and developing automation packages for industrial equipment is required and for process equipment a merit
Experience in Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC's
Knowledge in automation standards such as S88, GAMP5 etc is a merit
Your work approach is constructive, structured and systematic
