Job Description
As an automation engineer, your main focus is working with control systems and make different components work together. Your work is focused on both electrical design and software development in controllers and PLCs. Within the team, there is a close collaboration between the automation engineers and the embedded software developers.
Your responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Development of new and existing applications and products
* Problem solving in the production
* Software development and development of equipment for the production
* Support the sales department
* Documentation of how the systems work
We are looking for someone who has the ability to independently make progress in your own work, but you also appreciate a close collaboration with colleagues. You are curious and enjoy coming up with suggestions for new solutions and have great social skills.
Key Skills and Experiences:
To be the right match for this position, we believe that you have:
* A university degree in a relevant field
* At least 5 years' experience of similar work
* Experience in PLC programming and electrical design
* Experience in test and verification
* Experience in VFD, HMI, communication protocols and commissioning
This role also requires that you are fluent in English, in both speech and writing.
