Business Unit Liquid Food (BULF) is responsible for development and manufacturing of solutions, branded processing units and key components for the processing of liquid foods within beverage and prepared food. We work closely with our clusters and customers to understand their true needs. To secure that we, create and convey our solutions that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its Customers. BULF has approx. 500 employees in seven main sites: Sweden, China, USA, India, Singapore, Switzerland, and Denmark.
We are looking for an Automation Engineer that will have a key role in automation design and factory testing of our process equipment.
The position is permanent and based in Lund and will include some travelling.
What you will do
As an Automation Engineer in Operations Engineering, you will work in a broad area within the automation field. You will be responsible for and manage the automation design and engineering for our process equipment. You will also perform tests of the equipment in our production workshop in Lund. The split between engineering and testing is estimated to be 50/50.
We can offer you a very interesting position and a good opportunity to grow in knowledge and skills to become professional in one of our core technologies for food processing.
You will focus on
Be responsible for and manage automation design in orders such as control system specification, programming and function descriptions
Create function specific documents and data to customers and other areas in the work process such as test and documentation
Perform test in our workshop
Occasionally working with internal sales support, customer issues, product nursing and trouble shooting
Who you are
You are a service-minded person with high liability and a strong driving force. You are structured and have excellent communication and documentation skills. You can work independently as well as with others. You have a technical education and some years' work experience, preferably from the processing and food industry. You are excellent with PLC and HMI programming as well as theoretical automatic control. You have experience from Siemens, Rockwell or other well-known automation systems. Your English is fluent, both written and spoken.
