As Automation Engineer at NKT you'll be a part of the Production Technology Automation team; well experienced in projects concerning power and automation development. You will be part of, and also take lead in, projects mainly focused on automation development.
We aim to be in the forefront of technology! The systems in which we work are unique; our own systems and concepts developed in this very department, not used anywhere else in the world.
You'll also be an important support to Production as well as for general business development.

Who are you?
You are an engineer skilled in one of either two orientations:
Automation development:a highly motivated and creative mind skilled in PLC and/or SCADA.
Electrical engineering:a solution oriented and innovative person who brings both ideas and structure to the table. Being accredited in electrical work is advantageous. Electrical Safety is a requirement.
Fluency in English and Swedish is a must for this role, as communication is key. Knowing an additional language (German, French or Finnish) is considered a bonus.
To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to be thorough and appreciate getting to take responsibility for your own work. You see yourself as a natural multitasker, being able to keep multiple projects ongoing parallel to each other and still deliver both quality and results. You'll work closely with your team and coworkers and that is where you do your best work. Sharing ideas, working together and contributing to the technology journey - that's where you want to be.
