Are you the ambitious automation engineer we are looking for?
The importance and demand for plant automation and operational data increases from our customers all around the world. In Tetra Pak we can offer a world class automation platform and we have for a long time been leading in the food and beverage industry to provide safe and efficient production. To further meet the huge opportunities and expectations from the market we are looking for an Automation deployment leader who can drive the deployment activities for mainly our Siemens platforms (S7 and TIA) as well as support and develop our engineers in using these platforms. This is a unique chance to really make a difference for the important success of Tetra PlantMasterT automation solutions.
The team is the centre of expertise to our market companies, packaging platforms and business units in creating solutions that fulfil our customer's requirements. This position is preferably based in Lund, Sweden but the location can be discussed depending on the candidate. Travelling is required to some extent but usually planned in advance.
Main responsibilities
• Plan and drive deployment activities for the Siemens platforms together with the development team
• Support the development team with requirements and feedback about the Tetra PlantMasterT Siemens solutions
• Develop training material and perform training sessions for Tetra Pak engineers Participate in validation and field test of the Siemens platforms internally and externally Give support to and advise market companies and other users how to obtain a customer's requirements using the Plant Automation Platform
• Handle and solve technical issues reported from Tetra PlantMaster users
Qualifications
Relevant experience combined with a University degree in Automation Engineering or equivalent is required. You have extensive experience in Siemens automation systems and products.
Knowledge or experience within one or more of the following areas is considered a merit:
• Experience in Wonderware user interface systems
• Experience in automation for processing plants
• OPC standard communication
• Industrial MES applications
• SQL/databases
• Virtualization
A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
