hela Sverige We are looking for an engineer to join the audio team in Core Technologies Media. The main focus of this job is within digital signal processing and audio analytics.
Your future team
You will join the Core Technologies Media team, which is responsible for the technology development of both video and audio. We are a rather small, innovative, and diverse team where we value a curious mindset, knowledge sharing and openness.
As a core technology team, we have a responsibility to investigate and develop new and innovative features to maintain our position as market leaders within the surveillance market. This is done by building knowledge within the area, learning about our customers and spending time exploring new ideas and possibilities.
What is your role?
Adding audio to a video camera can mean improved detection, better situational awareness, and obtaining valuable forensics information. To also be able to analyze and recognize interesting sounds, will improve this even further.
As an audio technology engineer, you will among other things handle challenges like investigate and develop technologies within digital signal processing and analytics. In our audio analytics work we develop sound recognition features that will strengthen the possibilities to understand surroundings
the camera is acting in.
Who are you?
You should have a digital signal processing background and experience developing software in this area. You don't need to be a programming expert, but you should be able to work independent in C/C++ and script languages like python. It's also to your advantage if you have knowledge within the machine learning area.
As a person, you should have a strong technical interest and you should find it interesting to explore new areas and gain new knowledge. You have a good analytical ability, and you can understand complex issues and processes.
We expect you to have an academic background should be a master's degree in computer science, physics, electrical engineering or similar.
