hela Sverige On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Audio SW Developer.
The Audio SW Developer will work in an agile team together with Audio engineers and DSP SW developers to define, build, test and integrate the complete Audio software for future OEM Audio solutions. There will be several variants of the Audio solution with commonality and the full Audio solutions will be integrated into a platform based on Qualcomm and QNX architecture. The Audio solutions are high fidelity, state of the art software with many interesting features as well as the latest features, not yet released to the market.
The work includes development of SW components and algorithms, SW needed for successful integration, Integrating 3rd party SW as well as integrating the complete Audio solution into the final target environment. The team apply Test Driven Development and will use CI/CD pipelines to test the SW on several levels. This means that there is not someone else available to define and perform the tests for your software. This is each SW developer responsibility.
As a member in our agile team, we expect a mindset to ask for help when needed and also to help other developers when needed. This is our foundation for knowledge sharing and team mindset. We believe in being better together.
In the team there will be SW technical leaders guiding in the overall architecture, Audio engineers responsible of the Audio signal chain definition, DSP engineers with the capability to bring all the signal chain into embedded code running on DSPs.
In the role as Audio SW Developer you are an expert in embedded SW development in the Qualcomm and QNX architecture and experience from this field or similar is of good use. Any experience from working with DSP code will also be beneficial even if the focus will be to develop SW for other cores than DSPs in this role.
Key activities for this role:
SW development, including unit testing for a Qualcomm and QNX platform
Embedded SW development
Understand integration needs and to describe this in terms of SW that needs to be developed for successful integration
Interact with both 3rd party SW developers as well as customer SW developers to build the best technical Audio solutions
Main skills profile:
Graduate in Software Engineering
Qualcomm and QNX Audio platform
Some knowledge of Automotive Headunit platform development.
C, C++ and Python
A true interest to learn new things. A strong curiosity.
Agile ways of working
Other appreciated skills:
Using CI/CD pipelines and if possible support the CI/CD Leader to implement improvements in the C/CD pipelines.
Interest in Automotive audio solutions.
Pragmatic problem solver attitude.
A true teamplayer
Localization will be at our Gothenburg office, which currently has about 65 employees.
