The team:
Volvo Cars is undertaking a deep digital transformation. We are investing in new platforms with the ambition to drive our digital marketing agenda. As part of this strategy, we are building the EMEA Marcom Center: a team made of digital marketing experts who aim at leveraging the usage of Volvo Cars martech platforms and consumer insights to deliver marketing efficiency and automation at scale.
We are looking for someone who has both passion and proven expertise in Martech, Adtech and CRM. The ideal candidate will have a marketing tech background and a desire to coach to accelerate our growth and consumer engagement.

Your role:
The Audience Strategy Lead will focus on managing and optimising the usage of first party data in paid channels to improve marketing efficiency through acquisition and retargeting tactics. You will own VCC EMEA instances of Salesforce Audience Studio (ex-Krux DMP) which is the DMP operated by Volvo Cars in 7 key European markets (UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands and Norway).

This is a new position since this responsibility has been outsourced to an external partner, but we now wish to bring the competence and knowledge in house.
In this role you will:
• Own the management and continuous optimisation of Salesforce Audience Studio in the EMEA markets where it is implemented
• Drive the leverage and unification of our first party data for channel-agnostic audience creation
• Explore and influence the strategic evolution of the Volvo Cars technology stack to adapt to a cookieless environment and need for identity resolution tools
• Work closely with our local national sales companies (NSC) and their media agencies to secure adoption of the tools in their digital campaigns
• Create and execute test hypothesis and proactively identify new audience opportunities and media strategies for campaigns
• Document and spread learnings and best practices across the marketing community. Train stakeholders and continuously maintain knowledge
• Act as a change agent and contribute to the Volvo Cars digital transformation by promoting channel automation and orchestration
• Define KPIs and track progress on conversion, CPC and ROI using control groups.

Your Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience and knowledge of Salesforce Audience Studio data management platform or equivalent and digital audience management
• 3+ years of experience in digital media, programmatic landscape, custom audience building including retargeting and building lookalikes
• 3+ years of working with online marketing platforms and Digital Marketing tools such as Google AdWords, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Facebook, Twitter, Google Analytics
• Experience with CDP and proven expertise with capturing, unifying, and activating data to strengthen consumer relationships across digital channels
• Experience in adding value to campaign briefs, establishing and conducting test, and interpreting results
• Experience in creating insights from using digital analytics/data and executing solutions
• Strong relationship building skills, with the confidence to take the lead when necessary, combined with the ability to patiently work with other internal stakeholders who do not possess the same technical knowledge
• Experience with tag management systems, HTML and web protocols and analytics tools (Datorama) is a plus
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
