We are now looking for an Attribute Owner - Vehicle Sustainability



YOUR TEAM
You will be part of the Chapter Vehicle Materials, Attributes & Technical Documentation, one of two teams within the Vehicle Design Tribe.

This team is responsible for Materials Engineering, Attribute Management, Serviceability and Documentation for products. You will join a creative and inspiring team that like to take on challenges and find new ways to work and continuously improve.

In this position within Attribute Management, you will do suitable benchmarking, create awareness and comprehension of external factors such as legal, market and business requirements and solutions that is aligned with our Sustainability Strategy and our Material Strategy etc. that will have an impact on our autonomous vehicles. Based on this you define and assess robust non-functional vehicle technical requirements (which will be used for requirements on Systems and Components) with corresponding verification methods for autonomous vehicles.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Plan all activities for the Attribute and create Attribute Strategy, Roadmap and Attribute Analysis (Input, Analysis, proposed Content) during Business Exploration phase
- Develop Attribute rating (1-10) to meet current and future legislations, market and inhouse needs
- Perform benchmarking activities on Vehicle level sustainability
- Write the Non-Functional Vehicle Requirements and contribute to requirement balancing on Vehicle level
- Validate that Attribute performance targets meets Customer expectations (Product Profile)
- Allocate and agree on Non-Functional Vehicle Requirements to System/Components Initiate development of Verification methods on Vehicle Level, with focus on time and cost optimization and report the status of the Attribute during the project
- Monitor development and promote sustainability evaluation methods to drive usage of more sustainable materials and circular design of vehicle
- Manage the Attribute Verification related to Restricted and Reportable Substances in collaboration with Suppliers, NEVS Quality and Supplier Quality Departments to ensure that suppliers fulfil our requirements correct
- Ensure vehicle RRR (reuse, recycle, recover) percentage of vehicles
- Build up and introduce product LCA (Life Cycle Analysis) tool and methodology in collaboration with our suppliers, purchasing and design teams.



WHO YOU ARE
- MSc or equivalent University education in Chemistry or Environment
- Long term experience and knowledge in sustainability overall and especially materials used in vehicles, Restricted and Reportable Substances, REACH and other legal and market requirements
- Experience of working in IMDS creating in-house and reviewing suppliers MDS (Material Data Sheets)
- Experience of reading and comprehend product regulations and relevant standards
- Experience of writing requirements
- High ability in verbal, written, and graphical communication
- Accustomed to write and speak in English
- Like to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
