We are now looking for an Attribute Owner -Electronics, Infotainment and Connectivity
YOUR TEAM
The Physical E/E Architecture Chapter is one of five competence teams inside the E/E Hardware Engineering Tribe.
The overall responsibility of the Tribe is to secure NEVS present and future need for E/E Hardware Competence & Technology within E/E Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics & Electrical Energy Storage. You will be part of a creative and inspiring team that like to take on challenges and find new ways to work and improve.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Be responsible for the future development of NEVS hardware development in infotainment & connectivity realm, and thus ensuring that NEVS products will meet the standards required by NEVS customers.
- Be responsible for how the Infotainment and connectivity systems in the vehicle are perceived by the customer, always keeping the customer focus within your areas, which includes benchmarking of future trends.
- Produce requirements for areas where NEVS needs more detailed standards than the general legislations within the field.
- Support Engineers across our organization in applying new requirements in system and component specifications.
- Monitor NEVS internal test planning and review test results.
- Lead concept selection at vehicle architecture on a system and component level.
- Be responsible for setting up the attribute assessment planning and follow-up and report progress.
- Develop infotainment systems, antennas systems & connectivity systems for automotive use.
- Develop together with other engineers the internal and external communication platforms. This includes ECU's, Displays, antennas, antenna fusion, modems and communication strategies.
- Lead problem Root-causing and Resolution from an infotainment & connectivity perspective
- Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals and product offerings.
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed Master or bachelor's degree in electrical/ Electronics' Engineering or Physics
- Knowledgeable within the application of electronic design considerations in the automotive domain
- Passionate interest and engineering experience from working in the infotainment or connectivity field, minimum 10 years. (Depending on field of experience)
- Experience from hands on Electronics design (PCB, Electronics circuit design, component design & selection) is desirable.
- Experience in leading the development of Infotainment and/or connectivity projects
- Experience of functional UI/UX (HMI) is desired.
- Accustomed to write and speak in English
- Like to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
- Good communication skills and team player characteristics.
- Have curiosity and a positive attitude.
- Can legally drive vehicle in Sweden
