The section Powertrain OBD and Dependability, within Powertrain, has the mission to ensure that the development of the next generation engines reflects our brand essence of 'Designed Around You' and that all legal and costumer attributes regarding OBD and Powertrain dependability is met. All activities aim to deliver world class OBD and dependability. Currently the section includes approximately 110 employees, organised in seven groups. The group you are going to be part of consists of 15 dedicated engineers and is mainly working with emission attribute fulfilment, legal requirements and verification in the last development phase. We are looking for you who will join the development of next generations more efficient and environmental friendly drivelines. China is a growing market and consequently we have a lot of cooperation with the China organisation. The group also performs emission and OBD pre-homologation for all markets and in all projects. Now we need to strengthen our workforce with another Attribute Leader for Emissions.
As an Attribute Leader Emissions you will work in several projects and for all markets, analysing legal requirements, follow up and analysing emission results from development and verification, reporting status to management and project leaders. You will work in an ambitious team in close cooperation with the other Attribute Leaders for Emissions, project leaders, system responsibles, verification engineers and the homologation department. Therefore it is important with social skills and an ability to network. We offer you great development opportunities within an exciting role.
Main responsibilities:
• Secure the emission strategies
• Judging emission attribute fulfilment
• Interpreting, analysing and communicating emission legal requirements
• Follow up emissions status in projects
• Discussing technical solutions with the system teams at the engine and complete driveline department
• Advising emission development, verification and certification engineer
Required qualifications:
• PhD, MSc or equivalent documented education
• We see that you have 10 years of experience in SW function developing or SW calibration
• Good knowledge in emission legislation worldwide
• Experience from working with legal requirements and interpretations
• Project leading in an international environment is meritorious
• Ability to travel

• Good communicational skills
