The section Propulsion Diagnostics & Dependability has the mission to ensure that the development of the next generation engines reflects our brand essence of "Designed around you" and that all legal and costumer attributes regarding Emissions, OBD and Vehicle Propulsion dependability are met. We are looking for you who will join the development of next generations more efficient and environmental friendly drivelines. China is a growing market and consequently we have a lot of cooperation with the China organisation. Now we need to strengthen our workforce with another Attribute Leader for Emissions.

What you'll do
You will take part in various projects for worldwide markets with unique challenges. Your work tasks will cover the entire life cycle from development of new legal requirements until product launch and beyond.
You will work in an ambitious international team in close cooperation with the other Attribute Leaders for Emissions, project leaders, system development teams, verification engineers and the homologation department. Therefore it is important with social skills and an ability to network. We offer you great development opportunities within an exciting role.
Main responsibilities:
* Translate legal requirements into measureable targets and methods
* Develop emission strategies
* Contribute to technical solutions in cooperation with the system development teams
* Follow up emissions attribute status
* Advise emission development, verification and certification engineers
* Participate in working groups for new legislation development
You and your skills
You are a strategic visionary with a structured and accurate approach. In order to reach out to all your contact points, both within and outside the organisation, you have the ability to summarize and present the status of your work. Further you create a credibility and are good at establish a network around you.
* MSc or equivalent documented experience
* Several years of experience in emission hw or sw development
* Good knowledge in emission legal requirement analysis
* Project leading in an international environment is meritorious
You are highly motivated to contribute to the continued success of Volvo Cars and you like others to know your ambition, because if you work together, you see no limits!
