Attribute Leader - NVH

As Attribute Leader for NVH you and your attribute team colleagues (Attribute Leaders, CAE-, test and design engineers) are overall responsible for achieving a correctly balanced vehicle performance, ensuring that the final product corresponds to the market and technical specifications as well as target user needs and expectations.

The general work method is to define, communicate, follow up and, if needed, balance requirements and guidelines related to all NVH that together set the performance.



Responsibilities and tasks

- Responsibility for managing the NVH attribute within platform projects.
- Areas to cover: Powertrain NVH and Sound Quality, Road NVH, Operational Sound Quality, Sound package, Active Noise Control and Advanced Engineering projects.
- Develop and support the cooperation between CEVT and Geely NVH teams.
- Develop and set complete vehicle- and system requirements for multiple platforms.
- Develop verification plans for the attribute area where needed. (CAE and Test activities)
- Support engineering departments in development of specifications, concept selections, supplier evaluations and problem solving.
- Report overall timing, status, issues and solution proposals for the NVH attribute to project and in Design Verification Reviews.
- Contribute in developing, storage and usage of requirements and test method database.
- Plan and support benchmark of new technology and competitor performance.
- Propose, support or lead advanced engineering activities needed to support future products.



Requirements

- M.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical, Physics or Industrial)
- Attribute Engineering experience.
- Experience from leading NVH attribute areas within automotive industry.
- Experience from NVH CAE evaluation and physical testing in NVH test laboratories.
- Experience from LMS, Head Acoustics or similar NVH measurement systems.
- Strong personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative, plan and drive issues
- Analytic and problem solving mindset
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with senior management and other organizations
- Passion for engineering and product excellence
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
