Attribute Leader - EMC
The EMC section is a part of Electrical and Electronics System Engineering within Volvo Car's Research and Development (R&D) division. Currently we are 14 employees. We are responsible for the Attribute Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in complete cars, for design guidelines, requirements, analyses simulations and tests in complete cars.
Working with EMC means that you establish and develop relationships with designers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the designs in those areas. In this position, you will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network both within R&D, as well as in the accessories and special vehicles organization. You have degrees of freedom to form your deliveries and to develop your own skills. Main responsibilities
* You will support almost all areas within Volvo Cars with your high skills, you will be a part in investigations of new technologies and support in troubleshooting existing products in laboratories or in the field.
* You act as an EMC project manager
* Plan, drive, follow up and report all activities to secure the EMC attribute.
* Continuously prioritize work packages and items to highlight what is most important.
* Keep the team and managers informed about the actual status in your area.
Required qualification
* University degree in electronics, physics or other relevant area or equivalent experience
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Documented experience from EMC in Electronic design.
You are more qualified to this position if your CV includes
* Experience of the automotive industry
* Experience of other electrical technologies

* High communication and corporation skills

Location for this position is onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden from where we expect you are able to work with adequate working permits. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement. Combined with the same skills in the Swedish language is considered a merit.
