hela Sverige At Sandvik Group IT we're now looking for an Assurance Officer to join our dynamic Assurance team within the CISO office. We're responsible for ensuring that our security controls, policies and procedures meet both internal and external requirements.

About your job
In this position, your responsibilities encompass two main areas; IT General Control (ITGC) and Assurance processes.
Within the ITGC context, you execute various ITGC Program-related activities and continuously improve the program methodology and controls framework. By supporting the Business Areas with timely execution of the ITGC Program activities, you ensure that Sandvik's internal control objectives are achieved. Additionally, you support them and other applicable parties to get the security controls implemented and oversee the management of identified issues and remediation actions.
Within the assurance context, you execute any activities related to the management of assurance processes such as:
Implement and define the applicable information security assurance processes in line with Sandvik's security strategy.
Develop materials for education and communication purposes.
Develop and implement standard methodology and materials to enable execution of defined processes.
Support the preparation of update and performance reports.
The location for this position is Gasverket in Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with experience in process management, program management or similar positions related to information security. It's beneficial to have experience in internal controls, security assessments and tasks related to security programs as well as the ability to work in a structured manner with a high volume of information. Previous involvement in internal and external audits is also considered a plus. Acting in a global setting calls for excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
You're proactive with the ability to ensure deadlines are met and promptly addressing potential risks. With an understanding of corporate politics, you balance and align the interests of various stakeholders. As a skilled planner and collaborative team player, you thrive in structured, organized work environments, contributing to team success and achieving goals. You share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
