Job Description
We are looking for an Assortment Controller to join our Monki Denim & Acc division at Weekday.
As an Assortment Controller at Weekday your main responsibility is to plan, buy and optimize the best assortment for our target customer to drive responsible growth in all channels. You work closely together with the product team in order to secure the best assortment by maximizing the potential of our products and assortment in a creative and responsible way.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Participate in defining vision, strategy, goals and timeline together with assortment manager & concept designer
Set goal for profitability
Set sales plan, income plan and buying equation per channel
With an agile mindset, monitor buying levels & stock situation and initiate & drive actions that maximize selling potential
Secure and develop the work methods for planning, buying, selling
Participate in mentoring, motivating and leading planners as well as your team towards set goals
Support team leaders in driving change, have a constructive problem solving approach when facing obstacles
Qualifications
• 2 years experience within merchandising, controlling, or planning. Experience from the fashion industry is meritorious
A degree in business, economics or engineering
Strong analytical skills and ability to turn analysis into action that you can implement with your team.
A strong salesmanship and a customer focused mindset
Driven and result oriented you take own initiatives and have a genuine interest in retail
Experience from independently setting and driving strategies, implement routines and way of working
Flexible and solution-oriented team player with leadership skills
Are you a team-player with great energy and drive, do you take own initiatives with an open mind and positive attitude? Then you will thrive in this role! You are structured and organized. You love to solve problems in a creative and business-oriented way.
