JM Formox belongs to the division Efficient Natural Resources and we are the world leader in formaldehyde technology. We develop and manufacture catalysts, supply complete plants and provide technical support to customers worldwide.

About the role
As an associate specialist with know-how in Formaldehyde technology, you will play a key role in our process development, design and technical support for different plant projects in selected key and core areas.
Key responsibilities
• Plan, lead and execute process development tasks/projects that have been agreed.
• Provide technical support and take lead to solve customer complaint, claim or issue in plant projects.
• Provide specialist know-how for selected key and/or core area(s) in Formaldehyde technology
• Adhere to JM EHS, housekeeping and security standards, ensures others follow and are active in driving EHS improvements.
• Develop process engineering tools.
• Initiate suggestions for improvements to the Standard plant and leads the Standard group.
• Execute the work by finding the most cost-effective solutions in line with JM Formox standard plant concept.
• Establish technical standards and requirements, such as Design Manual, technical data sheets etc.
• Contribute to safety reviews in area of expertise.
• Be part of networks and co-operate with other departments (internally and outside JM) and competence areas.
• Review Process Engineering documentation from others.
Are you the ideal candidate?
To be the perfect match, we think you have a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, you have a strong drive for results and work in a structured and organized way and you are a good team player but can also work independently.
You should also have knowledge in the following
• Extensive knowledge in Formaldehyde technology
• Extensive knowledge in process engineering and design
• Ability to evaluate technical solution within the specialist field
• Taking advantage of design tools
• Strategic and independent thinking
• Ability to transfer knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
• Data analysis
