Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) is looking for Associate Professors (Docent) in Accounting, 1-2 focusing on financial accounting and 1-2 on management accounting.

Research at JIBS focuses on entrepreneurship, renewal and ownership. The school offers study programmes and courses in business administration, economics, informatics and law with an international focus.
The department of Accounting and Law has strong research in the respective fields of accounting and law and encourage working over disciplinary boundaries.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant has an excellent level of teaching competence as well as a very good publication record in financial accounting or management accounting. The teaching languages are Swedish and English. Non-Swedish speakers will have teaching responsibilities primarily within our Accounting program, and require profound teaching capabilities in the English language. Applicants are expected to be fluent in Swedish after a three-year period.
Successful candidates should have:
• a Ph.D. focusing on financial accounting or management accounting
• an outstanding academic background and research profile meeting AACSB requirements
• a solid record in teaching and program design
• evidence of effective teaching skills
• a commitment to helping develop new accounting courses
Preferred candidates will also have the potential and drive to publish their research in high quality scholarly peer-reviewed journals, an interest in international research and experience in developing and delivery of accounting courses / programs.
Emphasis will be also placed on the applicant?s suitability for the position and capable of fitting into JIBS? profile.
