www.jibs.seJönköping International Business School (JIBS) invites candidates to positions as academic leaders in Economics (one full professor and one associate professor). Candidates to the first position should satisfy criteria for full professorship, and are expected to possess a strong and active research record. The holder of the position should have the ability to contribute to the development of the theoretical and empirical knowledge in economics at JIBS, to manage research and education activities, and to interact with society at large. The holder of the position is expected to conduct research and to engage in both undergraduate and graduate teaching. The assessment of applications will focus on academic skills as well as on teaching skills. Administrative competence/experience is also valued.
The second position as associate professor is intended to complement the position as professor to allow for a wider spectrum of economic theory at the department.
