Job Summary
Are you looking for a challenging position where you can combine your commercial mindset with your technical background?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Associate Product Manager for Heat Exchangers, that will be able to drive and support world's leading position heat exchangers in food industry. To drive heat exchanger business and product deployment activities, you will have to work closely with our Product Managers as well as other functions, alliance partners, and stakeholders both internally and externally. You will join a highly skilled team with a passion for what they do, and you will work with people all over the world.
You will be a member of the Business Stream Key Components organization, placed in region of CET time zone. The preferred location is Lund, Sweden but other locations could be considered. This is a permanent position and we expect 10-20% travelling.
What you will do
As Associate Product Manager, you will:
Support Commercial Product Manager and Technical Product managers on portfolio development activities and drive product development projects if needed
Work with different functions mainly as production, supply management, critical supplier and Regional Hubs and markets as well as alliance partner for portfolio management activities
Product margin improvement and global footprint business analyses
Support product launch activities and drive further deployment with regional hubs
Service product development support
Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring good working relationships with the customer and Tetra Pak colleagues and that Tetra Pak's reputation is sustained
Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety as well as Customer safety regulations
We believe you have
You have a Bachelors degree in Engineering Thermophysics / Flow Engineering/ Math / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of technical service experience
Some product management experience
Service experience from working in a Processing organisation is a plus
An innovation mindset and a drive to solve problems
Strong communication, stakeholder management and conflict management skills A
Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken
You are a fast thinker with a strong and genuine passion for what you do. You have a good business understanding and combines this with a structured way of working. The challenge of continuously improving our product is highly motivating to you and you are hyperaware of the market needs and trends. You enjoy working with people from various cultures.
To build and maintain successful relations with stakeholders comes natural to you. Your communication and collaboration skills are excellent; you have the ability to build trust on different levels, listening as well as influencing. Your technical understanding and structured mindset will be big assets in this role, enabling you to understand the market and prioritise.
