Our studios are working on three new titles, one of which is the battle royale game Bloodhunt. We need an Associate Producer to join our Malmö studio, to support the teams and take responsibility for defining, planning and executing the work. Reporting to the Producer, you'll be working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the studio.
Responsibilities
• Take ownership of one or more aspects of a project, ensuring the team can deliver on their goals through problem-solving, motivating and supporting them where necessary.
• Identify the needs of the game, business and technical challenges.
• Look for opportunities to improve the team's development effectiveness and quality of life. Monitor and report on the progress and morale of the development team.
• Collaborate with discipline directors and leads to turn creative vision into actionable, scoped plans.
• Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create programs for solving those problems.
• Proactively identify upcoming risks, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, and resolve cross-team issues.
• Facilitate the iterative nature of the creative development process.
Requirements
• Experience working as Project Management, Project Coordinator, or equivalent in the games industry.
• Solid knowledge of modern project management methodologies and how best to apply them.
• Comfortable with project management software, e.g., JIRA.
• A good understanding of development pipelines.
• Passionate about building good team culture and development efficiency.
• Great stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for creating and playing games.
About us
Sharkmob was founded in 2017 and has offices in Malmö, Sweden, and London, UK. The studio develops AAA-quality games for PC and console, using the Unreal Engine to power its ambitions of taking multiplayer games to new heights. Sharkmob is currently working on three major projects: Bloodhunt - a battle royale set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe; and two proprietary, unannounced projects.
