The arena

Pharmaceutical Development is accountable for delivering the innovative design, efficient and robust processes for the manufacture of differentiated drug products, the supply of product for toxicological and clinical trials and the generation of information and knowledge to ensure regulatory approval of our products.
At the department of Formulation Science Sweden, a sub-division of Pharmaceutical Development, we focus on the fields of Inhalation, Oral Controlled Release and Immediate Release. We are now looking for an experienced formulator with Drug Delivery focus, preferably in the field of inhalation, although experience in other Drug Delivery technology would also be considered.
The role
Designing drug products and commercially viable drug product manufacturing processes.
Technology Transfer of drug product manufacturing processes.
Identifying Life Cycle Management Product Opportunities.
Exploitation and development of cutting edge drug delivery technologies.
Collaboratively help to design, develop and implement global best practice in formulation science.
Networking with our sister functions, e.g. Physical and Analytical Sciences
Lead internal and external project work and other improvement activities
Assess, record and report data. Draw authoritative conclusions and make recommendations
Engage customers in development of solutions by applying a broader perspective.
Prepare documentation and formal reports in accordance with current standards
Apply technical knowledge to improvement projects and the evaluation of new technology/processes.
Collaborate with specialist scientific and/or technology networks within Pharmaceutical Development.
