For our client in the pharmaceutical industry we are now looking for an Associate Principal Scientist for Modelling and Simulation in the area of pharmacokinetics and toxicology. The consultant assignment will start in February and go on until December 2015 with possibility for extension.

Publiceringsdatum2014-12-16Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a Modelling and Simulation Specialist, and you'll have a unique opportunity to apply your modelling and simulation expertise to the preclinical safety area by developing an industry leading Translational Safety department.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
• Optimise the design of toxicology studies and develop models
• Optimise the impact of modelling in efficacy and safety studies
• Evaluating and interpreting data to prepare for internal governance bodies
• External forums to champion the use of modelling and simulations in toxicology settings
• Development and implementation of new strategies for translational safety
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Your have a degree-level education or equivalent in a relevant scientific disciplineare and have a solid knowledge of the drug discovery development process including modelling and simulation experience in the areas of PK/PD, pharmacometrics, systems pharmacology, systems biology or similar. You have an understanding of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics and of current principles and concepts in safety assessment. You additionally have pharmaceutical industry knowledge and speaks and writes english and swedish fluently.
