* Excellent knowledge of state of the art Computational Chemistry
* Driving areas of scientific improvements for Computational Chemistry
* Planning, writing and publishing of high quality scientific papers
Essential Requirements
We are seeking an engaged Computational Chemist with a track record of working in drug design projects. Industry experience is a plus, but not a must. The successful candidate will join our fast-paced multidisciplinary RIA Computational Chemistry team. You are expected to have a high degree of independence and a track record of excellence in a number of computer-aided drug design techniques to assist in target identification and advancement of discovery programs.
* PhD in Computational Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacology or a related field with a strong computational background
* Solid knowledge of Computational Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry concepts
* Expertise in using Computational Chemistry software as well as knowledge in scientific computing, and programming skills (e.g. Python, Perl, C, C++, Java)
* Strong expertise in structure-based drug design and biophysical methods
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
