Marketing is the corporate function responsible for understanding the outside to inspire the inside in order to create new irresistible opportunities.
Within Marketing, the Competitor Insights Team provides fast and relevant intelligence on both present and future competitor activities by building rock solid insights on our competitors, confidence through educating our people and getting under the skin of our competitors forecasting their moves to drive positive action for Tetra Pak.
We are now looking for an Associate Manager to be a member of the Global Competitor Insights Team. You will be responsible for delivering real time insights and supporting CI Managers by securing accurate, timely and relevant intelligence on key companies and future trends. You will also focus on technical aspects of competitors offer including equipment and technical service. The person also ensures that reports and recommendations are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
This position will be based in Lund reporting to the Global Competitor Insights Manager Plastics based in Denton, USA.
Main responsibilities
• Managing competitor alerts
• Supporting quarterly global reporting on key competiotor activities
• Answering & supporting CI Managers with competitor insights request from stakeholders
• Providing competitor input & support into the annual strategy process
• Support CI Managers to develop and deploy competition tool boxes.
• To lead and manage deep dive investigations into competitor equipment and future trends.
• To liaise closely with Technical Service related to competition intelligence
Qualifications
As a person you are curious with a natural inclination towards innovation and change. You are open-minded, flexible and quickly adapt to new situations. You have a structured approach with proven analytical skills. You have excellent skills in English, both written and spoken.
To be successful in this position you have a University Degree, either in Marketing/Business Administration or in Engineering. We are open to candidates with 1-3 years of experience at Tetra Pak within Marketing/Commercial functions as well as DSO/SCO.
