ABC International Bank plc is a UK based bank with one of its principal activities being Trade and Commodity Finance. Headquartered in London, the bank has branches in Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, marketing offices in Rossendale (North of England), Istanbul, Madrid (Iberian region) and Stockholm (Nordic region) with a view to increasing the flows of trade and investments between Europe and the Middle East and African Region (MENA).
The Trade and Commodity Finance encompasses of receivables finance, forfaiting, export finance (ECA based), commodity finance, letters of credit and contract guarantees.
In the Nordic region we are serving export companies with significant export flows to the MENA region.
The bank has been awarded Best Trade Finance Bank in the MENA region.
The person we are looking for will be part of the European Trade and Commodity Finance team of 40 people.
As an Assistant to the Head of Nordic Marketing the applicant will be involved in business follow-ups, credit issues and administration in conjunction with London and other European offices.
The applicant should be a graduate in Business Economy (International) from either Nordic or other international school.
Business perception in terms of communication, follow-up and administrative skills will be of utmost importance.
English should be spoken and written fluently. Other language skills could be an advantage.
The candidate shall be able to show adaptability to work for a small and flexible organization.
