Gothenburg Assistant Store Manager
Main purpose: To assist the Shop Manager in developing an effective sales strategy focusing on customer care. To ensure the retail sales team are well trained, and understand company goals, are committed to their achievement and value their contribution to the success of the company.
Customer Service
• To work with the Retail Manager to define customer Service standards and employee competence to optimise and sustain sales performance, profitability and offering a unique and memorable shopping experience in store.
• Monitor sales team's KPIs, Conversion, UPT, CRM, AOV.
• Engage, develop and maintain key relationships with the Axel Arigato consumer inviting them into our lifestyle.
Operations
• To work alongside the Retail Manager to report on sales, costs and business performance according to Axel Arigato requirements.
• To assist the Retail Manager in creating new systems and developing programs.
• To assist the Retail Manager with costs and overheads on all factors affecting the profitable performance of the store.
• To maintain and report as necessary on all merchandise/stock for stocktake and on-going.
• Manage and maintain the standard of Visual Merchandising in line with the guidelines set.
• To be aware of and actively support Company procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers and colleagues.
Brand Focus
• Ensure relevant HR procedures are followed i.e. one on one's, discipline, records of conversations etc.
• To be aware of Health and Safety within the business, security and emergency systems and ensure staff capabilities are reviewed on a regular basis.
• To lead by example through sales and service.
• Manage, motivate and develop employees through training and coaching weekly.
• Develop personal skills through training and one on one's.
• Demonstrates and understands the Axel Arigato values and behaviours.
• Acts as an ambassador for Axel Arigato and exhibits passion in all aspects of the role.
• Communicates positively about the brand at all times.
Qualifications
• Experience from leading a team of 4 people for at least 2 years, and experience from training people in sales and service.
• Passionate about Axel Arigato products and brand. Passionate about fashion.
• Passion for retail and excellent customer service skills.
• Sales driven and results oriented.
• Great communication skills with a social and outgoing personality.
• Be open to new ideas and receptive to constant development.
• Ability to follow direction.
• Demonstrates initiative.
• Ability to prioritise.
• Fluency in English required.
• Proficiency in Excel / Word.
