Choice Hotels is currently seeking new employees with energy, guts and enthusiasm.
Main Function:
Assist the team to make sure we maximize the overall net revenues for the (responsible area/cluster) within Choice Hotels Scandinavia. Main focus will to optimize revenue, both transient and group, through strategic planning, pricing and overall commercial awareness. Yield Manager will primarily focus on a rolling 3 month overview.
Monitor the market and our competitors and make sure we are positioned correctly, available in all relevant distribution channel using reports like RateView, STR Global, etc.
Monitor pick-up, lead time and overall segment production on relevant hotels in optimization system and have a close dialogue with Revenue Manager to make sure all forecasts are validated and accurate.
Use market information/analysis along with recommendations from optimization system to make changes in pricing and applying yield controls when appropriate.
Make sure our selling strategy also is applied in all relevant distribution channels. Provide analysis on the profitability of the distribution channels we are participating in and give recommendations to RM as to which channels we should/should not be working with.
Assist Revenue Manager with analysis and forecast validation when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Prior knowledge and experience within Revenue Management and/or pricing.
• Structured, analytical and team oriented.
